When does the blurry vision go away after Lasik?

Filed under: Lasik Surgery Q&A — admin @ 6:01 pm
calimike2001 asked:

I had Lasik about two days ago. At first it was hard to open my eyes, but now I can see out of it. Although my vision has improved in the eye, it looks like Im in a room filled with smoke. Everything seems clear, but very hazy. They said my vision was supposed to be good in 48 hours, and its been that long. Does this go away, because maybe I was better with contacts. Did I screw myself?

I’m about to apply online, but I’m wondering what if I chicken out and decide not to get Lasik. Will I be able to cancel the card? I would call them but I think its too late right now, and I want to know. Also, do you have to have good credit to be approved?

Is it foolish to have lasik eye surgery if you already have Higher Order Abberations?

I get ghosting and starbursts especially when my pupils are dialated. Should I dismiss lasiks and other laser surgeries due to the fact that my night vision could get a lot worse? I feel like I might be stuck with RGP contacts as the only thing that makes my vision satisfactory while giving me periphial vision as well.

How many different types of Lasik are there?

Filed under: Lasik Surgery Q&A — admin @ 1:12 pm
P3ACE asked:

I only thought there was one. How many are there and how are they different? Which one entails the least pain and which one takes the least amount of time to heal? I’m 17 and i’m getting it done when i’m 18. I don’t want my senior year to suck or be delayed because i can’t see or anything.

Has anyone had bad outcomes & experiences from Lasik surgery?

I’m having lasik surgery on both my eyes in 5 days. Thats how horrible my vision is. Of course i’m scared. I’m just scared that if something goes wrong, then the outcome can just rob whats left of my pitiful vision. Does anyone have anything bad to say about lasik?
