Lasik Eye Surgery

How old do you HAVE to be legally to get Lasik eye surgery?

A Savage Hypocrisy asked:

Also if I have medical insurance will it pay for all or any of it? I’m still a teenager and I’ve worn glasses half of my life.. I absolutely hate them.. I’ve tried putting contacts in for 3 years and I just CAN’T. Also how much is it or does it depend on how bad your eyes are?

no, very few (none?) insurance plans pay for it. it generally runs about $1500-$2000/eye ($3000-$4000 for both eyes)
