Will the military pay for LASIK before you go to basic training?

I think I know the answer but I was wondering if anyone knew for sure. I am going to enlist in the air force sometime after Christmas and I wear contacts. I really don’t want to wear those aweful looking birth controle glasses during basic lol. I do realize that they will pay for LASIK if your commander says you can, but can u before u go to basic??

  3. For nearsighted folks during initial entry training that said got laser eye surgery prk not lasik will disqualify you know clinics offer both types of the prk wont.
